Hunting in Limpopo

The Lodge in Limpopo Province is called Mananga (the local name for ‘trophies’) is situated in an imposing nature reserve close to the Limpopo River and the border of Zimbabwe. This nature reserve is the home of a wide variety of bird life and African animals. Mananga Safaris is a paradise for hunters, photo enthusiasts and families in search of the ultimate African experience.

We offer a unique hunting territory of 25 000 hectares. Some of the big game animals that roam our area are elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo that could be arranged to hunt.

The Main Camp has everything in order to ensure you an unforgettable South African safari experience. Enjoy a great night’s rest in our luxurious and spacious rooms or relax at the pool with a refreshing drink. This camp is comfortably situated for you to easily explore the different excursions.
We offer tastefully decorated rooms with en-suite bathrooms (showers only). Our rooms are air conditioned and serviced daily. All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities as well as mini bar fridges to keep you refreshed throughout the day. We believe in providing only the best South African luxury safaris.
The Main Camp has a big outside lapa with a dining, living and buffet area. Many evenings are spent around the open fire. Our gardens are well-kept and a small dam next to the camp area provides wildlife with a refreshing drink during the warm days.

Our staff is friendly and our professional chef will prepare only the best traditional meals for a hungry traveler, who is looking for an incredible South African safari.

The Ostend Camp is a traditional farmhouse which has been completely upgraded and renovated. This camp offers three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. There is also a family room, with a bathroom, that sleeps four people.
The Ostend Camp can accommodate up to ten people which makes it ideal for families. A neat and comfortable dining and lounge area makes it perfect for a South Africa luxury safari holiday. The outside lapa and bar area is ideal for you to enjoy a traditional meal. The swimming pool is a great choice to jump into during a warm and sunny African day.
This camp offers 2x2 bedroom chalets, each with their own bathroom. This camp also has a sauna room for the eager ones. Whichever camp you choose, you will be spoiled to a remarkable South African safari.

Included in a price:
              Beverages and meals are included at all the Mananga Safari Camps. The camp takes a minimum of 2 persons.

Hunting in Eastern Cape:

Rifle Hunting: All hunting is done on foot in "The Spirit of Fair Chase". We take great pride in promoting the sport of hunting, enjoying the challenge of getting you in as close as possible offering the perfect shot. We back up wounded game with Terriers which is an adventure on its own.

The Eastern Cape with its great diversity in landscape and game is a true hunting paradise. There are probably few regions in Africa that can offer as much to the hunter. 

Big 5 Hunting: Kubusi Safaris offers all the Big 5 in South Africa. 

We have good concessions in Mpumalanga and North West Province for Hippo, Crocodile, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, White and Black Rhino and limited Leopard hunts. Our Lion hunting is done in the North West Province. This is a ranched hunt and is done ethically.
We quote individually on the Big 5 as the prices change monthly; we also have access to PAC (problem animal control) Big 5 animals.

Kubusi Lodge:

Situated 90 km's from the East London Airport, this 2500 acre Game Ranch is situated along the Kubusi River. A trophy room with indoor barbecue area is adjacent to the bar and swimming pool area and sauna. A separate dinning room overlooks the valley.
Great Bow hunting with high volumes of game including Cape Buffalo, Giraffe and 23 other species of game.
Accommodation consists of 6 luxury en-suite chalets built amongst the granite outcrops and 3 luxury en-suite tents overlooking the valley.

Glen Boyd:

Glen Boyd is 115km's from the East London Airport and is 15 000 acres of prime hunting and photographic habitat along the Great Fish River. We have two luxury lodges here. We have over 40 species of game here, including Sable, Giraffe, Buffalo, White Rhino and Lion.

Glen Boyd Lodge

Glen Boyd Lodge is situated in the gardens of the historical Glen Boyd homestead, steeped in Frontier History. Established in 1853, the Glen Boyd gardens are an arboreal delight, with ancient Jacarandas said to be the tallest in South Africa. The lodge overlooks the fields teeming with game, including White Rhino and Cape buffalo.
6 luxury en-suite chalets overlook the ravine. The dinning room overlooks the swimming pool and tennis court.
The Main Dwelling was built in 1858. Beautifully restored to its former glory, high Pewter Ceilings and original wood work, this house was used by the original farmers to entertain the British officers during the Frontier Wars.

Tented Camp:

The Tented Camp overlooks the Glen Boyd Dam. This unique setting blends in with the surrounding bush and is ideal for catching a few fish in the evening after a great day out hunting.
6 colonial tents under thatch offer a unique experience for those wishing to experience something different.
We offer Ethical fair chase hunting safaris in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa for both Bow hunters and sport rifle hunters. All hunting is done on foot in the spirit of fair chase.

The following are included in your Safari:

·          All accommodation, food and beverages
·          Services of a licensed professional hunter, tracker and ground staff
·          Transport to and from the airport as well as all ground transport for the duration of the Safari
·          Field preparation of trophies and forwarding them to a taxidermist or shipping agent of your choice.

The following are excluded in your Safari:
·          Dipping, packaging or any processing of trophies
·          Shipping charges for your trophies to your own country
